John Salveson

John Salveson has more than 30 years of experience providing consulting services to a broad range of organizations, including pharmaceutical companies, wholesale distributors, banks, insurance companies, manufacturers, professional service firms, healthcare providers, retailers, service organizations and various non-profit institutions.

John is Co-Founder and Principal of Salveson Stetson Group, Inc. (SSG), a firm dedicated to helping organizations attract and retain talent. SSG is a multi-specialty practice, focused on retained executive search in human resources, sales and marketing, finance and general management. From its start in mid-1996, SSG has sustained rapid growth, establishing itself in the top 15% of its industry. John works closely with the senior leadership of SSG clients to define their talent needs and develop and execute creative strategies to recruit and retain that talent.

John was formerly Vice President and Director of Client Services of Right Management Consultants, a Philadelphia-based international career management and human resources consulting firm. Prior to Right, he helped start and grow Human Service Systems, Inc., an employee assistance program provider.

John holds both Master of Arts and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame. He has long been active with many civic and cultural organizations in the Philadelphia Region, including The Philadelphia Orchestra, WHYY, the Caron Foundation, the National Adoption Center and the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He is also Founder and President of the Foundation to Abolish Child Sex Abuse, Inc.
