John R. Eder CPA

John R. Eder is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Seminole Gaming, who has overall daily responsibility for the finance, accounting, payroll, risk management, compliance, banking/investor relations, planning and analysis, cage, credit and purchasing for the seven casinos located throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Eder further sits on several strategic steering committees for Seminole Gaming, including executive, benefits, investment, information technology and compensation. Mr. Eder joined Seminole Gaming in June 2002, working as Vice President of Finance in the Gaming Division and at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, thereafter served as Senior Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Mr. Eder was the Vice President - Finance of Kerzner International, a Bahamian based privately held corporation that owns and operates the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Mr. Eder also held management positions with Walt Disney World, Vesuvius USA and Coopers & Lybrand. During his career, Mr. Eder has had a wide variety of responsibilities and duties. These include, among others, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, operational analysis, internal and external auditing, system and reporting development and asset management. Mr. Eder has extensive international business experience, working with companies in the Bahamas, Europe, Africa and South America. Mr. Eder received an M.B.A. degree from the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida in 1997 and a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University in 1990. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant.
