Summary of Experience JoAnn is a director with McGladrey & Pullen’s Great Lakes Region employee benefit plan practice. She joined the firm in 1995 as an auditor of engagements across a broad range of industries including manufacturing and distribution, service and not for profit, assisting with financial and audit issues pertaining to schools, municipal organizations such as community bands as well as state and local governing bodies. In 2002, JoAnn moved to the benefit plan audit practice, where she is exclusively involved in auditing qualified benefit plans. Her experience includes defined contribution plans including ESOPs, defined benefit and health and welfare plans. JoAnn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society, and the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). She is a Qualified 401(k) Plan Administrator (QKA). She is part of the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Conference steering committee, as well as its speaker. JoAnn has also been part of an expert panel at the annual Plan Sponsor conference. Additionally, JoAnn serves as a Vice President – Membership of the Chicago chapter of ASPPA.
