Jenifer Minke-Girard is the Interim Deputy Chief Accountant - International in the Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA) at the SEC. In this role, Jenifer leads the activities of the office’s International Group and is responsible for managing all aspects of group strategy and operations. Jenifer has also been serving as Vice Chair of IOSCO’s Committee on Accounting, Audit and Disclosure (Committee 1) through October 2018, and as an Observer to the IASB’s IFRS Interpretations Committee and Advisory Council. Jenifer previously served in several management roles in OCA’s Accounting Group, including Assistant Deputy Chief Accountant, Senior Associate Chief Accountant – Consultations, and Senior Associate Chief Accountant – Oversight of Accounting Standard Setting. Prior to joining the SEC staff, Jenifer gained experience as a financial reporting preparer with both a public and nonpublic company and as an auditor with Price Waterhouse. Ms. Minke-Girard holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Accounting, from Washington University in St. Louis.
