Jeffrey S. DeWitt is the independent Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the District of Columbia. As CFO, he is responsible for the District’s finances, including its approximately $7 billion in annual operating and capital funds. He works closely with congressional committees that oversee District affairs, and regularly interacts with the Wall Street financial community. Previously, Jeff DeWitt served as CFO for the city of Phoenix, the 6th largest city in the United States with a $3.4 billion annual budget and nearly 15,000 employees.
