James W. Strezewski

Mr. Strezewski serves as a Senior Vice President at LaSalle Investment Management, one of the world’s leading real estate investment managers. Mr. Strezewski has twenty one years of real estate accounting experience and has served with LaSalle Investment Management for nineteen of those years. He has worked on a variety of investment structures, dealing with investments from acquisition to disposition and his responsibilities have included commingled funds, separate accounts, fiduciary assignments and closed and open-ended REITs. His clientele have been both domestic and foreign based. He has also project managed system implementations and designed internal control environments with respect to the engagements. Mr. Strezewski is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Accounting from Loyola University and was a member of the Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society. He served as a chairman of the accounting committee for NCREIF and is currently a member of the Real Estate Investment Standards (REIS) Council. In these roles, he has chaired several multi-organization task forces addressing industry-related issues such as accounting for investment companies and the valuation of debt and has worked with the FASB on implementing fair value concepts. Mr. Strezewski also currently serves as a Board Member to the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF).
