James is a Senior Manager within Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP’s Regulatory and Operational Risk practice in Atlanta. He has 15 years of financial consulting and valuation experience, with a focus on the financial services industry. James advises financial institutions in the areas of Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss estimation, CECL readiness, loan valuations, and model risk management. 

James’ relevant project experience includes: 

1. ALLL model development under existing incurred loss and CECL guidance, 
2. Performance of ALLL program assessments, 
3. Estimation of ALLL reserves under stress testing scenarios, 
4. Validations of stress testing models in the areas of credit (wholesale and consumer) and market risk, 
5. Development of PD and LGD models.
