Jamey Edwards is co-founder and CEO of leading telemedicine company Cloudbreak Health. In 2006, Jamey embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, leaving his successful financial services career to transform a small family-owned business into an industry-leading multi-specialty group. Years later, he led the acquisition of video remote interpreting pioneer, Language Access Network (LAN), which would help form Cloudbreak Health.
Jamey is a 4x EOY honoree, 2x honoree for the LABJ Healthcare Leadership Awards and in 2016, he was awarded the LA Business Journal’s Patrick Soon-Shiong Innovation Award for Cloudbreak’s achievements in the industry. In 2018, Cloudbreak was recognized as "Best Videoconferencing Solution" by MedTech Breakthrough and a "Top Telehealth Company to Know" by Becker's. Cloudbreak has been included on the Entrepreneur360 list the last two consecutive years and was recently named “Best Overall MedTech Software” in the 2019 MedTech Breakthrough Awards.
He graduated as a Tradition Fellow from Cornell University in 1996 & received his MBA from Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management in 2003.
