Mr. Dolinar is the managing partner of Assurance Professional Practice (APP), which is Crowe’s national office. In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s quality control function which includes matters related to accounting, auditing, ethics, independence, audit quality and inspections, as well the professional standards consultation process. This also includes practice matters related to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and other regulators.
Mr. Dolinar currently serves as the chair of the AICPA’s Financial Reporting Executive Committee (FinREC), which is the AICPA’s senior technical committee for financial reporting matters. Mr. Dolinar also serves as the vice-chair on the Center for Audit Quality’s (CAQ) Professional Practice Executive Committee (PPEC), a senior technical committee, which addresses technical and regulatory matters involving practice before the SEC and PCAOB and seeks to enhance the audit quality of public company audit practices; and serves on the CAQ’s Advisory Council. Mr. Dolinar is a former member of the CAQ’s Research Advisory Board.
Mr. Dolinar has a bachelor of Science, Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
