Jim has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 27 years, and he has been part of the Value-Based Care team since 1998.
Out of college, Jim earned his CPA license and worked with one of the “big four” CPA firms in the Midwest for four years before moving to Southern California. Jim has held various positions in the healthcare finance and accounting areas in various parts of the country: Senior Internal Auditor; Hospital Assistant Controller and Controller; Divisional Accounting Manager; and most recently, before joining Conifer Health, Director of Corporate Accounting for a large healthcare organization.
Jim’s expertise in hospital capitation and risk-pool accounting is a significant reason many institutional entities seek to contract with Conifer Health. Jim holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin.
