Jack is an Audit partner in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice. He has more than 14 years of experience, primarily focused on banking and financial services.

The Department of Professional Practice provides technical support to domestic and international operating offices and their clients by addressing and resolving complex accounting, auditing, reporting, and SEC-related issues. It also is also responsible for developing firm positions on accounting and audit-related matters, and is the principle department for enhancing the professional development of KPMG partners and employees.

Jack has served on a two-year assignment as a Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, where he worked on the Financial Instruments Project for Credit Losses. Jack also was involved with researching accounting issues, formulating solutions, presenting to the Board at public meetings, leading discussions at external resource groups, responding to technical inquiries, and interacting with the SEC staff, the national offices of Big 4 accounting firms, and other constituents.

Jack also has served various audit clients. He has focused on accounting and auditing topics facing several regional and international banking registrants, including topics pertaining to credit losses, financial instruments, fair value measurements, business combinations, and transfers of financial assets. Jack has had overall responsibility for planning and coordinating audit work, working with companies on financial accounting and reporting matters, delivering day-to-day services, and supporting the direct supervision and review of audit efforts.

Jack graduated with a BBA from St. Bonaventure University, Magna Cum Laude. He is a licensed CPA in New York and Connecticut.
