J. Michael Nesser CPA, ABV, J.D., CFE

Mike Nesser is an attorney and CPA with a wide-ranging business and consulting background that spans more than thirty years, and includes auditing, tax and litigation consulting experience with two of the former "Big Six" accounting firms, Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. He also has taught accounting and finance in both undergraduate and graduate school programs, and has experience as a corporate, tax and estate planning attorney. Mike was one of the first CPAs in the country to receive the ABV designation in 1998 and has conducted several hundred engagements involving business valuation. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and has conducted civil and criminal fraud investigations. Mike is currently the Managing Director of Nesser Consulting Group, Ltd, where he has provided litigation consulting services in more than 500 disputes. He has provided deposition and/or trial testimony in more than 150 legal proceedings, ranging in size from less than $100,000 to nearly $1 billion. Mike frequently makes presentations to attorneys on topics such as lost profits and other economic damages, and he has worked with law firms and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in their mock trial attorney training programs relating to business economic damages.
