J Michael Reese

BACKGROUND Mike is currently an Assistant Director-Practice Management for the Global Leveraged Finance/Private Capital practice for Mayer Brown, LLP.  His previous experience includes advising professional service firms (primarily CPA firms) on matters related to risk and practice management in both internal and external roles (10+ years), serving tax clients with both national and regional public accounting firms (12+ years), and prosecuting criminal matters at the state level (3+ years).  He has frequently presented on risk management in CPA firms, and authored several risk management articles for both accountants and miscellaneous professionals.
