Ivgen Guner
Senior Vice President, Global Business Finance, Oracle
Ivgen Guner is senior vice president, Global Business Finance at Oracle, with responsibility for providing decision support to all business units, strategic planning, financial analysis, business intelligence system management and management reporting. She is the executive sponsor for the internal deployment of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud, which Oracle has been live on since December 2016.
Ivgen is known for her ability to operate at a fine-grained level of detail while also being able to clearly see and influence others on how it all fits together to create sustainable value for customers, employees and shareholders. She has a demonstrated ability to lead both strategy and execution during disruptive business transformations and market inflections, evidenced in her leadership role advising the Office of the CEO and management during Oracle’s own transformation to the cloud.
Ivgen’s passion to be Oracle’s first and best customer of cloud is seen within her own finance organization. She was one of the first executives at Oracle to experience the challenge of business model change, and rebranded, retrained, and re-tooled Oracle’s Global Business Finance organization from a simple reporting group into a globally-recognized agile finance platform that has become a true strategic partner and a co-pilot to the business.
Ivgen is a sought-after speaker on a broad range of topics, from business and finance transformation, to leadership development, finance talent and diversity and inclusion. As one of the founding members of Oracle’s Women in Leadership (OWL) organization, Ivgen is dedicated to engaging and developing current and future leaders in all diverse group at Oracle by networking, mentoring and life-long learning. She has been highlighted in multiple publications and has partnered with AICPA and AFP organizations to give back to the industry and to help other finance professionals understand how to operate in the digital world.
Prior to joining Oracle, Ivgen was an integral part of one of the largest technology mergers which formed Unisys Corporation. She was not only the first female controller of the Japan Operations unit, her experience early on with large mergers led her to create an “M&A Playbook for FP&A” for Oracle that has been used for over 150 successful acquisitions to streamline post M&A integration activity and identify future growth opportunities.
Ivgen earned a MS in Accounting from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. She also graduated from the University of Ankara, Turkey, with a MS in Agricultural Engineering and Food & Fermentation Technology.
