Irelan Tam

Dr Irelan Tam, FCMA, CGMA, FCPA, CMQ/OE, CSSBB, PMP, DBA, MPhil, Msc IS, Msc Mgt. Irelan has 30 years working experiences in FP&A, budgeting, business integration, Business Performance Management, Project Management, Information System development, internal control and supply chain optimization. She began her career with Jardines Marketing Services, and moved to various accounting functions in different companies. She had worked in Johnson & Johnson for twenty years and was the Regional Finance Director for Johnson & Johnson Medical Asia Pacific responsible for establishing the Centre of Excellence in driving business performance management, business analytics and business reporting. She is currently the Finance Director of a listed company in Hong Kong.

She was awarded Master of Philosophy in Psychology in 2016; Doctorate degree in Business Administration in 2005; Master degree of Science in Management (Health Care) in 2002 and Master degree of Science in Information Systems in 1995 all by Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is also a member of Certified Manager of Quality /Organizational Excellence, Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP of Project Management Institute. Irelan is currently the Vice Chairmen of CIMA Hong Kong and she joint CIMA Hong Kong as the committee member since 2014 to support branch activities and members’ continuous education. Irelan had conducted several workshops with HKICPA and HKU SPACE on risk management, Management Accounting practices and business management.
