Grant Wilson

Grant Wilson is the Director of Commercial Credit Risk Policy in the Credit and Market Risk Division of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Prior to this position, Mr. Wilson managed the OCC’s Shared National Credit Program, the agency’s largest and most complex commercial credit examination. In his current position, Mr. Wilson directs the formulation of supervisory policy guidance and examination procedures related to commercial credit activities and serves as Chairperson for the OCC’s National Commercial Credit Committee which advises the OCC's National Risk Committee on commercial credit risks and trends within the national banking system.

Mr. Wilson began his OCC career in 1979 working in the Oklahoma City Field Office and has served as a Problem Bank Analyst in the Southwestern District Office and in the Fort Worth and Dallas Field Offices as an EIC and credit lead for various community, midsize, and large banks. He has extensive examination experience with problem banks and commercial real estate lending.

A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Wilson graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1978 with a BBA in Finance. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1998.
