Frank has 38 years of experience, 27 of which were at a Big 4 firm in Chicago as their Lake Michigan Area Not-for-Profit practice leader.
Industry experience
Frank serves as co-chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (AICPA) combined AICPA Not-for-Profit Organizations Expert Panel and Not-for-Profit Audit and Accounting Guide Taskforce. As co-chair, he leads the combined panel/taskforce's efforts in a complete rewrite of the Audit and Accounting Guide for Not-For-Profit Organizations. The panel/taskforce also determines specialized topics (e.g., alternative investments, consolidation, etc.) that merit special consideration by the Expert Panel. Frank is the partner on audits of a variety of Not-for- Profit organizations, including membership organizations, colleges, universities, social service organizations, religious organizations, trade associations and many more.

Frank serves as national board chair for the Breast Cancer Network of Strength board of directors. Frank is also an active volunteer and Grant Thornton's coordinator for volunteer services for the Taxpayer Assistance Organization providing free tax preparation services to needy families of Chicago Education Frank is a graduate of DePaul University and a certified public accountant.
