Eric Rogers MEd.,RT(R)

Senior Manging Consultant, BKD

Eric is a member of BKD’s National Health Care Group. He leads a team of professionals dedicated to helping clients understand and implement new revenue models, including bundled payments and accountable care organizations. Eric assists health care organizations with emerging reimbursement models, including enhancing physician relationships, understanding post-acute implications and reviewing existing operations for potential changes for success under a new payment model. His hands-on hospital operations experience can help clients with organizational effectiveness, including staffing and productivity analysis. 

Eric has 12 years of experience in the health care industry, including serving as the hospital administrator for a multistate community health system. He managed outpatient multispecialty physician practices and restructured physician compensation and care delivery models, which valued quality and met the demands of a changing reimbursement environment. Eric has deep experience in the imaging industry that includes service provision, business model education and ownership. He has served as the national delegate to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. Eric sat on the board of directors for his state radiology society, served as president and continues to maintain his imaging licensure. 

Eric is a 2009 graduate of Drury University, Springfield, Missouri, with a B.S. degree in radiography and master’s degree in education – human services. Zach is a member of the BKD health care physician services team with more than seven years of experience in the health care industry. He works with hospitals and physicians to develop solutions for an array of partnership arrangements, including strategic, clinical and operational. He also has a focus on health care reform initiatives and their effect on reimbursement for physicians, practices and hospitals. He draws on his experience, industry research and benchmark data to provide an evidence-based, structured approach to problem solving. 

His previous roles have included a hospital administrative fellowship, hospital strategic planning and operations work, along with physician practice operational consulting experience at CPA and advisory firms. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and Medical Group Management Association. 

Zach is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, with a B.S. degree in public health, and a graduate of Rush University, Chicago, Illinois, with an M.H.A. degree.
