Eric Fraint is the founder and President of Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, with offices in Washington, DC, New York, NY and Philadelphia, PA. Your Part-Time Controller is an accounting, financial services, and financial consulting firm specializing in accounting, consulting, and controller-type services for nonprofit organizations. A 1977 graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Fraint has served on the Board of Managers of The Philadelphia Foundation, where Mr. Fraint was also Treasurer. In 2010 he was also selected to be the first Chairman of the foundation’s newly created Audit Committee. Mr. Fraint currently serves on the boards of Young Playwrights’ Theater in Washington, DC, The Rotary Foundation of Washington, DC, The Grand Canyon Association in Arizona and is currently the Board Treasurer with The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. Mr. Fraint is a member of the faculty of the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been an Adjunct Professor in Drexel University’s Graduate Arts Administration Program where he taught the class on nonprofit financial management. He has been an instructor on various financial topics for the Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University; the Center for Nonprofit Advancement in Washington, DC; and for the Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative, an initiative of the Pew Charitable Trusts. He is often sought by reporters as an expert source and is a frequently invited guest speaker on finances, accounting and financial responsibility as they relate to nonprofits. Among others, the organizations he has presented to include: The Meyer Foundation, The Mason Center for Social Entrepreneurship at George Mason University, The Arts and Business Council, Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Franklin Forum, PA Bar Institute, Chester County Funders, the PA Association of Nonprofits (PANO), the Alliance of Nonprofit Financial Officers, the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, the Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives. Mr. Fraint is a current member of the Selection Committee for The Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management, a project of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement.
