Ed Berenblum

Ed Berenblum is a Managing Director with over 25 years of experience as a healthcare management consultant and in senior roles in the healthcare business process outsourcing (BPO) and healthcare provider services segments. His provider consulting experience encompasses revenue cycle, robotics process automation (RPA), acquisition due diligence, merger integration, performance improvement and turn-arounds. Within revenue cycle, he has led large scale transformation projects with a range of services that included revenue enhancements, cost reductions, merger integration and shared services design and implementation. These projects encompassed the entire revenue cycle, from scheduling through cash application. His clients include integrated delivery systems, academic hospitals, national physician management companies, commercial laboratories, home infusion, home care and durable medical equipment (DME) providers and other sub-acute entities.

In the BPO space, he led a global healthcare revenue cycle operation with 1,200 Full Time Employees (FTEs) located in the United States, India and Mexico, a 500 FTE business office located in the United States and India, and a Finance and Accounting shared services operation with over 40 different processes and more than 500 FTEs located in the U.S. Ed has also held CEO equivalent positions for providers in the homecare, home infusion, DME and laboratory market segments.

Ed has led the acquisition of four entities ranging from 1,100 to 50 FTEs, the divestiture of a 500 FTE division, the wind-down of four BPO locations ranging from 200 to 50 FTEs, the creation of shared service centers in India and the US, and the integration of the revenue cycle segment for a thirty-hospital system acquisition.

Ed holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and BS/MS/PE equivalent degrees from the University of Buenos Aires, School of Engineering.
