Donna Bordeaux CPA

Donna Bordeaux is a partner at Bordeaux & Bordeaux, a small family owned public accounting firm in Charlotte, S.C. that she founded in 1996 with an emphasis on business and individual tax. Donna enjoys helping business owners by providing proactive advice and guidance throughout the year and consulting with owners for goal setting, tax projections, and tax planning.

She has long been a technology enthusiast and has automated much of her practice to give her more time for strong client interaction and relationship building. The firm operates in the cloud allowing access to information anywhere, any time for the staff and the firm's clients. By providing up to date, accurate financial statements to owners of businesses, she is able to help business owners achieve their goals and minimize taxes. She also uses technology to simplify business owners’ lives so they can spend more time doing the things they enjoy. Simplified bill payment services, easy processing of payroll, and implementation of tax strategies all make the business more valuable and the owner's life more enjoyable.

Donna has worked in both public and private accounting ventures. Previously, Donna worked as a staff member at Schroedel, Scullin & Bestic CPAs, a regional accounting firm in Ohio, and at Sunrise Software, a firm specializing in construction accounting software.

Donna started her accounting career working with a small business through college to help them streamline and add technology to their processes in a time that technology was still a risk.

Donna is an active participant and board member of the Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce, a member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs Taxation Committee, a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and a Certified Xero Advisor; has served on the Board of Directors for the Metrolina Real Estate Investors Association. Donna has also been recognized as CPA Practice Advisor's 40 Under 40 honor.
