Dominic J. Gianna MS, JD

Dominic J. Gianna has long been recognized as a master advocate and one of Americas most dynamic and inspired teachers of advocacy, persuasion and trial techniques. He has led over 500 seminars throughout the English speaking world. Gianna is a founding partner of Aaron & Gianna, PLC with offices in New Orleans and Salt Lake City, and is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers. Gianna has been recognized with the prestigious Keeton award from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) as the most outstanding teacher of trial advocacy in the United States. He has taught thousands the arts of communication and persuasion throughout the world with his partner, Lisa Marcy. Gianna is a Program Director of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Director of Trial Advocacy at the Louisiana State University School of Law, the co-author (with Lisa Marcy) of Opening Statements: Winning in the Beginning by Winning the Beginning. As a trial lawyer, he has tried cases throughout the USA from both sides of the courtroom and has served as trial judge pro tem in state courts and as Special Master in major cases, both federal and state. He was a frequent commentator on Court TV and has taught at numerous law schools throughout the world.
