Debbie Stark

Debbie Stark is a director in the Consumer Accounting Policy group at Citigroup. In this role, Debbie addresses significant accounting issues, works on the Consumer implications of proposed and new financial and regulatory accounting standards, and establishes and implements new or revised accounting policies. She has worked extensively on loan accounting issues, as well as securitization and sale accounting, consolidation, and lease accounting issues. Prior to joining the Consumer Accounting Policy group, Debbie had been a member of Citigroup’s Corporate Accounting Policy staff.

Before joining Citigroup, Debbie was a senior manager at Ernst & Young, where she served various roles in the Stamford, Ct. and New York offices in audit and computer audit, and in the New York SEC Department and National Financial Services Office. Debbie received an MBA degree in Accounting from Pace University and is a CPA.
