Dave Hinshaw is the Managing Partner –Professional Standards Group for Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP. In addition to his responsibilities for oversight of the technical aspects and quality control of the assurance services practice, he is also Director of SEC Practice for the Firm. Dave is active in serving with committees and task forces in the profession, and is currently a member of the Center for Audit Quality’s Professional Practice Executive Committee and the CAQ’s Smaller Firms Task Force. Prior service includes other CAQ and AICPA groups such as the SEC Regulations Committee, the Depository Institutions Expert Panel, and the Accounting Standards Executive Committee (now FinREC).
