Daniel Gartland CPA

Dan Gartland is a Risk Control Consultant for the Accountants Professional Liability Insurance Program of Continental Casualty Company, a CNA company and the underwriter of the AICPA Professional Liability Insurance Program.

Dan previously practiced public accounting for nearly eight years with a national public accounting firm. As a supervisor at the firm, Dan provided auditing services to clients in the real estate industry and a variety of other clients, including financial institutions and governmental agencies. He was also responsible for training, developing staff, and assisted in the creation and testing of firm audit procedures.

Dan currently provides risk control consulting services for CPA firms in the AICPA Program. He participates in the development and delivery of risk management training and education products, including the live risk management seminar and self-study programs.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a BA and MSA, Dan is a CPA licensed in Illinois as well as a member of the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
