Dana Bilyeu

Dana Bilyeu has served as the Executive Officer of the Public Employees' Retirement System of Nevada since 2003. She is responsible for all aspects of fund management including actuarial and investment structure in support of the Board of Trustees of the System. She was appointed by President Bush to the Social Security Advisory Board, a bipartisan Board that advises the President, the Congress and the Commissioner of Social Security on all issues related to Social Security. Ms. Bilyeu is in her second term as a member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB). FRTIB is the oversight board for the Federal Thrift Savings (TSP) plan for the federal workforce. Ms. Bilyeu is a member of the executive committee of the National Association of State Retirement Administrators and is a member of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys. She also serves on the public employees board of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She received her Juris Doctor from Cal Western School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona.
