Dan M. Guy CPA,Ph.D.

Dan M. Guy, Ph.D., CPA was formerly an AICPA Vice President. For almost 20 years, he was in charge of auditing standards and compilation and review standards, among other things, at the AICPA. Since taking early retirement in 1998, he has practiced as a litigation consultant representing attorneys in both plaintiff and defense matters. He has written a number of books on auditing, compilation and review, audit committees, and ethics. In 1998, he won the John J. McCloy award for outstanding contribution to audit quality in the US. Dan lives in Santa Fe, NM.
