Cynthia Lund

Cynthia S. Lund is Vice President of State Society Affairs at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Lund joined the AICPA in August 2000, and is responsible for working with state societies in all facets of collaborative efforts, including grassroots advocacy on federal legislative issues. 

Prior to joining the AICPA, Lund served as the executive director of the Missouri Society of CPAs since January 1994. Before becoming the chief staff executive in Missouri, she had served as the Director of Communications and Quality Review for the Ohio Society of CPAs.

She graduated from Duke University in 1979 with a degree in economics, and she earned her MBA from The Ohio State University in 1991.
