Curtis J. Mahoney

C.J. Mahoney focuses on domestic and international arbitration as well as trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts. He has handled arbitrations involving intellectual property, professional liability, engineering, and securities disputes. Mr. Mahoney is a visiting lecturer at Yale Law School, where he teaches a course on international arbitration. A Kansas native, Mr. Mahoney graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. in Government from Harvard College in 2000 and then worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2006, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Law Journal. Mr. Mahoney clerked for Judge Alex Kozinski of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and then for Associate Justice Anthony M. Kennedy of the Supreme Court of the United States. He joined Williams & Connolly LLP in 2008.
