Chris Cryderman joined the FASB as a practice fellow in August 2018. In this role, Chris focuses on financial instrument matters, including implementation matters related to the new credit losses standard.

Prior to his fellowship, Chris was a senior manager in Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance Practice in New York City, NY where he served multinational public companies within the financial services industry, specializing in banking and capital markets. 

Chris was previously in Deloitte’s National Office – Accounting Services Group and specialized in financial instrument matters and revenue recognition. He was responsible for formulating policies and interpretive guidance on accounting standards, and communicating with accounting standard setters, Deloitte professionals, clients, and other parties interested in financial reporting. 

Chris graduated from Michigan State University – The Eli Broad College of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed certified public accountant in New York and Connecticut.
