Cheryl Casone

Cheryl Casone joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in November 2006 and was part of the team that launched the FOX Business Network in 2007. She is a proud member of the number one name in business news.

Casone brings years of experience covering finance, business, and consumer news to FOX. She has reported on the economic impact of war on the economy, the financial colleapse of 2008, global markets, politics in relation to the economy, and was one of the last journalists to report from Syria before the war. She began her career covering Asian and European markets.

Prior to FNC she worked as a freelance business correspondent for CNN primarily reporting from the New York Stock Exchange, and CBS Newspath as a general assignment reporter. Casone moved to New York to work as an overnight and early morning news anchor for MSNBC and NBC. Prior to that she anchored a daily business show for San Francisco’s KRON-TV, and served as a general assignment reporter. She began her career at CNX Media on the nationally syndicated program Travel Update.

In 2016 she published her first book “The Comeback: How Today’s Moms Reenter the Workplace Successfully” with Penguin Random House.

Casone has served on the boards of the Associated Press Television and Radio Association, California and Nevada Regional Chapter, and American Women in Radio and Television, San Francisco Chapter.

She’s an avid runner and triathlete, and has completed the NYC Triathlon 8 times. She also raises money for Building Homes for Heroes and the ASPCA.

She graduated from Northern Arizona University and spent the majority of her childhood in Phoenix, Arizona. She lives on Manhattan with the coolest cat in New York, Milo.
