Charlie Wright CPA
Director, BKD CPAs and Advisors
Charlie is Director, Enterprise Risk Solutions for BKD, CPAs and Advisors. He leads BKD’s enterprise risk management efforts on a national basis. From 2005 to 2016, Charlie was Vice President of Internal Audit at Devon Energy Corporation. Prior to joining Devon in 2005, Charlie was the General Auditor at American Airlines. From 1987 to 1992 Charlie held a number of positions in the Information Technology division at Williams.
Charlie is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He has a B.S. in Accounting as well as a B.S. in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University. He has an MBA from the University of Tulsa and is a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma.
Charlie is the Vice Chairman of Professional Guidance on the Global Board of Directors of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Vice Chairman of the board of Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma and Chairman of the Risk Committee for the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
