Catherine Houts Director, Tax KPMG in the Cayman Islands Catherine is a Director in the U.S. tax practice at KPMG in the Cayman Islands. She has been with KPMG in the Cayman Islands for over ten years focusing on asset management. Prior to joining KPMG in the Cayman Islands, she was with KPMG LLP. Catherine works extensively in the area of US taxation for Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Passive Foreign Investment Companies and FATCA/CRS. She has a strong knowledge and technical experience with US taxation of investment products, complex partnership allocations, foreign reporting requirements and the formation and structuring of hedge and private equity funds based in the Cayman Islands. She is involved with the learning and development programming at KPMG and is a committee member of the 100 Women in Finance Main and Philanthropy Committees in Cayman.
