Carol is an Experienced Manager in the Compensation and Benefits Consulting practice of Grant Thornton’s Chicago office. Carol works with employers of all sizes in various industries across the nation who provide their employees a multitude of benefits outside of cash compensation, including qualified plans, equity compensation and perquisites.
Carol works with her clients to ensure their benefit plan offerings are competitive with market and compliant with DOL and IRS requirements including ERISA and the Affordable Care Act.
Carol is a registered CPA in the State of Illinois and is a member of the AICPA as well as the Illinois CPA Society. She has also been a 'Big Sister' in the Big Brother Big Sister of Metropolitan Chicago for over 7 years.
Carol attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received a B.S. in Accountancy and an M.A.S in Accountancy with a Specialization in Taxation. She also attended the University of Manchester in Manchester, England where her focus was International Business studies.
