Carmen M. Zimmer CPA

Carmen Zimmer is a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting and is based in Washington, DC. She joined FTI Consulting in September of 2012. Ms. Zimmer has worked on projects involving stock options backdating, patent infringement, investment fraud, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). In her career with FTI, Ms. Zimmer will focus on accounting fraud and white-collar crime issues. Prior to joining FTI, Ms. Zimmer gained experience as an analyst in the energy sector. She worked with an electricity consulting firm in New England and a commodity trading company in Germany and Sweden. Ms. Zimmer is a CPA. She earned her Master’s in Professional Accounting in 2012 from The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Yale University as a double-major in Economics and Visual Art.
