Brian Vertz ESQ, MBA, CVA

Mr. Vertz is a partner of Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC, a Pittsburgh law firm devoted to family law litigation, settlement, and appeals. He has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 2003 and is a Co-Chair of the Technology and Amicus Committees. He is a Vice President of the Pennsylvania chapter. Mr. Vertz has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2010 and as a Super Lawyer since 2005. Mr. Vertz holds an MBA and CVA designations. Mr. Vertz is the author and editor of the treatise Frumkes & Vertz on Divorce Taxation (James Publishing 2016), which continues the work of the late Melvin Frumkes. Lighting the path for more than 30 years, Divorce Taxation provides comprehensive guidance in family law tax issues. He also writes and speaks annually on a wide variety of family law topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, including child support, complex divorce litigation, tax, and drafting marital settlement agreements.
