Bonnie Ashby Sewell, CFP®, CDFA™, AIF®

As a child of divorce and someone who divorced after 25 years of marriage and who is happily remarried today, Bonnie works on 3-5 divorce cases a week. She is the author of, 'Love-Jacked! Divorce Your Spouse, Not Your Dollars', holds monthly nonprofit Second Saturday workshops in 3 cities, Ashburn, VA, Reston, VA and Charleston, SC. Her first case as a CFP® student in 1990 was a divorce case.

Bonnie's work legacy is to change the way families divorce through financial modeling that is used between private parties, in mediation and arbitration and court. Her work is gender-neutral and the mission of her firm, www.dysnyd.com is to never intentionally financially injure either party. Moving families forward financially once they've made the decision to part is her daily work.
