Ms. Betsy Rust has 30 plus years of experience working with Senior Care organizations on operational improvement initiatives, strategic planning, and financial feasibility. She is well known nationally for her ability to navigate the complicated world of health care reimbursement. Her clients appreciate that she helps them develop strategies and tactics in response to economic, regulatory, and market influences. Ms. Rust’s experience includes five years with a multi-facility, nonprofit senior care affiliate of a national health system working on budget, reimbursement, and financial analysis issues. Most recently, Ms. Rust has been advising hospitals and health systems on post-acute integration strategies that facilitate clinical integration, operating efficiency and financial success under value based models of care. She is also actively involved in numerous projects for post-acute care providers related to strategic repositioning of SNF assets and developing the skills required for risk based contracting. Ms. Rust is a frequent speaker at state and national conferences on healthcare reform and she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.
