Beth A. Thompson KPMG LLP National Partner-in-Charge, Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice Beth Thompson is the national partner in charge of KPMG LLP’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice. Beth's experience includes more than 25 years of accounting, auditing, taxation and consulting; specializing in qualified and welfare benefit plan services. Beth has extensive knowledge in the accounting and auditing of employee benefit plans, including SEC rules and regulations. Beth brings her clients the latest developments, including current accounting, auditing, legislative, and regulatory changes. Through her national role, Beth is responsible for the design and implementation of KPMG’s employee benefit plans audit methodology. Beth is also responsible for the development and delivery of employee benefit plan audit training on a local and national level. During her career, Beth has been active in the AICPA Employee Benefit Plans Expert Panel, currently serving as chair. She serves on various AICPA task forces, including the AICPA Audit Guide Revisions Task Force and the Audit Risk Alert Task Force.
