Austin McKenzie

Austin McKenzie is a seasoned banking professional with client-facing exposure to several layers of the banking ecosystem. Austin began his banking career as a Relationship Manager within a large regional bank covering the Mid-Atlantic. Eventually, Austin joined a nationwide Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) as a VP in a business development capacity. In his current position, Austin is a Vice President/Relationship Manager within the C&I Banking group of a Maryland-based community bank. In the scope of this role, Austin is actively providing financing to middle-market sized companies mostly concentrated in DC, MD & VA. 

Over the course of his career, Austin has accumulated a wealth of experience working with companies and non-profit organizations to secure access to capital for various projects and acquisitions. Austin is actively involved with various non-profits and community organizations in Greater Maryland. Austin has a passion for educating entrepreneurs and business leaders regarding how to leverage capital to mobilize initiatives and growth strategies.
