April C.V. Gunn

APRIL C.V. GUNN is currently an audit director and the director of the data analysis team at the Virginia Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts. For the data analysis team, she is responsible for overseeing a team of 10 members who perform data retrievals, verification, and analysis for agency audits. She is also the director of Commonwealth Data Point, the agencyﾒs public database of statewide data. She is responsible for maintaining and enhancing this database, which includes expenditures, revenues, budget, demographic, and various other information. April graduated from James Madison University and is a certified public accountant, certified information technology professional, and a certified information systems auditor. She is a mother to two boys and a girl. She is also actively involved in her local church and an avid runner.
