Anne Connell received her MS in Human and Computer Interaction from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science, and is a cybersecurity engineer and researcher at the Software Engineering Institute, and an Adjunct Professor in the Carnegie Mellon University Heinz College School of Information Systems & Management. She has made a significant impact in certifying the already remarkable reputation the SEI and CERT enjoys among the federal law enforcement community, and the Department of Homeland Security. Anne’s focus is to build methodologies, design applications, define workflows and frameworks that are suited to the needs of SEI sponsors.
Her research interests include engineering process, communications, and technologies, software and web application architectures, and distributed systems.
