Anna Marie C. Cicirello CPA, CFF, CA, CPA (Canada)

Anna Maria is a Senior Manager with KPMG's Forensic Practice in Toronto. She is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada, and a Certified Public Accountant in the USA. In addition, she holds a Certification in Financial Forensics from the AICPA.

She has participated in several high profile investigations involving misappropriation of assets, bribery and corruption, and earnings management. She has significant experience in providing dispute advisory services involving patent infringement, damage quantification and related litigation support. She has worked with several government and oversight bodies including government ministries, the RCMP and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Anna Maria has significant experience in data analysis and using information sources for investigation and dispute advisory engagements. She also authored several articles and previously presented on the topic of social media governance and using social media in investigations and discovery.

Anna Maria has broad experience in various industries and has worked in the US, China and the Caribbean. She served as an university instructor for several years teaching intermediate accounting, auditing, and lecturing on specific areas prone to fraud. Anna Maria sits on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Credential committee for Financial Forensics. In her spare time, she serves as a career mentor to graduates and new immigrants.
