Andy Mintzer is a principal in the Forensic and Financial Consulting Services Group at Hemming Morse and has over 35 years of accounting experience. With a primary focus on auditing and litigation services, he previously spent 17 years at Ernst & Young auditing public and privately-held companies and providing litigation support. He has extensive experience in fraud investigation and in a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Andy serves on the AICPAs Professional Ethics Executive Committee and is a previous member of two other senior technical committees of the AICPA, the Auditing Standards Board and the Accounting Standards Executive Committee.
Andys engagements have involved a wide range of industries. His litigation services experience includes matters involving accounting principles, auditing issues and fraud investigations. He has also developed and instructed numerous accounting and auditing educational programs and is an instructor for the National Judicial College where he teaches accounting, auditing and financial reporting to federal and state judges.
