Amy Gonce CPA, CFF, CFE

Amy Gonce is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Washington DC. Ms. Gonce has more than twenty years of experience in forensic investigation and analysis, technical accounting, review of internal controls, financial modeling, and project management and has performed a great deal of work in the healthcare, financial services and software industries. She has worked with large and small organizations in various industries in both the public and private sectors. Mrs. Gonce’s most notable clients include ArthroCare, the Trustee for Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, Agfeed, Capital One, Symmetry Medical, The Mills Corporation, Dell, WebMD, Freddie Mac, and a “Big Four” Accounting Firm. Ms. Gonce’s work has been comprised of forensic accounting projects including internal investigations, Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement actions, technical accounting support and review, and expert witness work including the determination of causation and calculation of damages. Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2002, Ms. Gonce was a senior manager in Arthur Andersen’s Southeast Region consulting practice. She joined the practice in 1992 as an auditor in their audit and business advisory practice.
