As Director of Meetings & Logistics, Amelia oversees NCACPA events to ensure they are functional, educational and financially successful. Amelia, along with her hard-working team, covers all pre-meeting planning and logistics, onsite management, post event follow-up, and much more. Most importantly, her team is responsible for providing the best experience possible for all NCACPA events. She graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Political Science and Communication Studies. A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Amelia spends her free time doing community service, mentoring young ladies in her nonprofit organization, and volunteering as an Image Coach for Triangle Dress for Success. However, her absolute favorite things to do are stay abreast of the latest recipes for her vegetarian lifestyle, reading the latest fashion blogs, and spending quality time with her family.
