Allyson T. Clarke CPA

Allyson T Clarke serves as a consultant with the Howard University School of Business Center for Accounting Education (CAE). She previously served as a lecturer of accounting in the schools Department of Accounting with a course load that included Advanced Accounting, International Accounting, and Principles of Accounting.

Clarkes intellectual interests center on critical issues facing the accounting industry: education policy, curriculum, leadership, and diversity in organizations. Since joining the team, she has enhanced and expanded CAEs programs and initiatives ensuring that they remain solution driven to the challenges of the accounting profession. She came to CAE following a seven year career at Deloitte in the Audit Practice where she supervised and performed financial statement and compliance audits. Her experience in public accounting serves as a resource to CAE where her work also focuses on the development of unique academic and leadership programs.

She completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting at Howard University and American University, respectively. Allyson is active in a variety of professional and civic organizations including the AICPA, Food and Friends, and the American Red Cross.
