Alison Parker CPA

Alison Parker, CPA, is a senior technical editor of PPC products for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. She is a coauthor of PPC’s Practice Aids for Audits Performed under International Standards and The PPC Governmental Update newsletter. She is a contributing author of PPC’s Guide to Audits of Employee Benefit Plans, PPC’s Practice Aids for Audits of 403(b) Plans, PPC’s Guide to Audits of Nonpublic Companies, and PPC’s Guide to PCAOB Audits. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, she was a senior audit manager in the Dallas office of Whitley Penn LLP, where she played a significant role in the firm’s extensive employee benefit plan audit practice. Alison also worked in industry for several years as the accounting manager for Galderma Laboratories, Inc., where she gained valuable experience coordinating both financial statement and employee benefit plan audits “from the other side of the desk.” She began her career with KPMG LLP in Fort Worth, where she was an audit manager. Alison has Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting degrees from Texas Christian University.
