Alice Pope joined HonorHealth in April 2016 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the hospital system. HonorHealth is an integrated healthcare system serving the Phoenix-Scottsdale metropolitan area. HonorHealth, with net revenue of $1.6 billion, includes five acute-care hospitals, eight extensive outpatient care facilities, and more than 55 primary care, specialty care and immediate care locations. Alice Pope most recently served as chief financial officer for Wellmont Health System. A certified public accountant, she has nearly 30 years of experience in finance, including about 20 years in healthcare. She worked for Wellmont since 2000 which includes six hospitals in Tennessee and Virginia, a primary care network, multi-specialty group practices, an accountable care organization, ambulatory surgery centers and post-acute care facilities. Prior to her appointment as Wellmont’s chief financial officer, Pope served for three years as their senior vice president of finance, managed care and revenue cycle. Previously, she served as vice president and chief financial officer of Holston Valley Medical Center, Wellmont’s largest hospital. Pope holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Virginia and a master’s in business administration from East Tennessee State University.
