Currently serving as Vice President of Cybersecurity Strategy and Operations at Northwestern Mutual, Ali oversees a multidisciplinary team, driving the development and execution of multi-layered security strategies to safeguard critical assets.

 

Ali’s career includes key leadership roles at major organizations such as HSBC, TransUnion, AbbVie, and PwC, where he successfully transformed cybersecurity programs, mitigated emerging threats, and ensured compliance with regulatory frameworks. As a strategic business partner, he has excelled at balancing risk management with operational efficiency, managing large teams, and presenting cybersecurity priorities to executive leadership and boards of directors.

 

Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
